# PS3 and Netflix?!

I had no idea this was possible. If you are a netflix member, go to [www.netflix.com/ps3](http://www.netflix.com/ps3) and signin. You will see an option to recieve a free netflix CD that you use to watch instant movies.

you need to use a netflix cd to watch the movies? On my xbox I just add them to my que and watch away. Been doing it for a year…

This is kind of retarded. Im thinking there has to be some kind of contractual BS behind the scenes which is preventing Netflix access from the PSN store. Perhaps bc you can already stream movies from the PSN store.

\*Edit: It uses the BD-Live function. Which makes me think this will work on any Bluray player with net access.

you have been able to stream shows/movies from the playstation network for awhile now, but you have to pay for the show/movie individually instead of just having a account and paying a monthly fee(which is better).
