It’s pretty much official now. November. I would think that may be a Early November for Japan and a late November for US. They won’t miss Christmas. That will keep sales up. Scratch that… they are definately now saying simultanious launch. Within the first 10 days in November. this hopefully will mean that it will be a big jump from the PS2 - possibly a noticeable jump from the xbox as well. If Sony can bring the goods for 300 bucks and free online play, it should compete well against the 360. AFAIK, the 360 is still missing that killer app that can justify the cost of the sysytem. ---

We’ll see. IT would be a smart move by Microsoft but I don’ think they should rush their “flagship” game to compete if it’s not ready. I can’t wait until the battle heats up. Usually that’s better for us the consumers! ---

I’m not holding my breath when it comes to any news from Sony. Remember… the network adapter and hard drive for the PS2 were both supposed to be available within the first year of the system’s life :roll: If the PS3 does make it out before Christmas this year, there’s a 5% chance of the 360 dropping a little in price before Christmas, and a 50% it will happen after the holidays. Time will tell. ---
