I like ps3 for bluerays.I like fps for xbox better online.Just like the controls better for those types of games.Netflix for xbox is the shit though to. Instead of buying new.Just buy off ebay and get them both.Problem solved ---

PS3 Guys… What formats do you guys stream to it? Will XVid and such stream nativity or will I need to transcode it? ALso anyone find a way to hook up a USB hard drive with videos on it directly to it from the PS3 OS? All I know is that COD4 MW2 comes out for both systems so either one you are good to go 🙂 ---

I don’t know much about ps3. But xbox has a sweet market place, you also have a friends list you can send voice msgs you can have voice chats while playing games! ---

I was voiceing my opinion just like you are. If people want to deal with having to send their 360’s in to get fixed a bunch of times then enjoy. My roomates xbox and a couple other friends xbox’s were being sent to get fixed multiple times a year. Ps3 never any problems. And yes they pretty much are the same! Graphics are exactly the same!!! ---

so if on line play wasnt the goal is it worrth even buying one of these? that really wasnt the goal ,just looking for better/faster/etc game play ---

It’s hard to appreciate the stunning 1080i/p graphics on a 480i display. Of course with a new system you will have access to new titles that aren’t being released on the PS2. ---

Xbox \> PS3. Better user interface, more user friendly, Better online experience of the two The controller doesnt suck balls. A few more titles plus DLC (see fallout 3) You can sync your xbox with your computer through windows media player (via the network) and stream movies, pictures and music right through your xbox too your TV. You can swap to a 120GB Hard drive if it came with smaller for 130.00 Netflix, have one person sign up and you can have up too four separate xboxs on one account. No twenty minute install times just to play a game You can now download games right to your hard drive, from xbox live. There’s far more, but you get the idea. ---

I can only see blu ray being the only advantage but i would still rather have a stand alone player that will stack well on my entertainment center than the oddly shaped game system with a shitty remote that i have to pay extra for. ---

If anything it seems like the 360 appeals more to people who want to hack it and cheat the system via free games / netflix accounts etc. These are also mostly the same people who seem to not mind when the system just randomly stops working and they have to open it up to “fix it” to get it running correctly again. Sounds like the dsm of the car community 😉 Granted I also only consider myself a casual gamer, I’ll play maybe once a week if that if I get the time, but i’ve had both an xbox 360 and the ps3, and i don’t miss the 360 at all. I’m sure for some people the 360 is a smarter buy depending on what they are looking for, but for all the people who keep saying “this is better than that end of story” you just sound like a bunch of fan boys 🙂 You probably can’t really go wrong with either when it comes down to it ---

The PS3’s web browser sucks ass, and while the idea behind the feature is nice, the execution is so poor that I wouldn’t consider it as a pro over the xbox.
