I have one of the “fat” units. I also forget to download the updates, so I didn’t know anything about it. I’m guessing everything is good to go now? ---

I kept playing mine. I got a few misc errors here and there when trophy info was trying to be loaded. It didn’t stop me from playing any games offline or online. Everything seems fine for the past few nights. ---

I just downloaded the update, and everything seems ok. It had an issue loading my Netflix stream disc, but it was a simple fix. I do admit, I like Netflix on the PS3 unit over OnDemand via Comcast. I keep only basic cable to stay with the news, and Netflix for everything else. I don’t have to wait a week to see the next episode of a show either. Genius in my opinion on Netflix part. It makes OnDemand look like old technology. ---

I nabbed mine a month after they came out. I had about $400 and didnt know they were gonna cost me an arm and a leg. I had to budget that month to actually save for it.
