# Purchasing a vehicle out of state, what to expect?

What it means is that you have seller sign the title in the correct spot. Then, instead of immediately taking it to the notary in Pennsylvania to transfer it into your name, just hold onto the signed out of state title until you are ready to have it transferred.

My advice, get a bill of sale as well.
