# put the zr2 in drive and CLICK.. put it in reverse! CLICK! rear end or u joints?

since im at a poor moment in life of course everything hits me all at once!

this weekend i found a nice loud clunk! in the zr2 rear end… SITTING STILL and just putting it into drive and reverse it CLUNKS for a second till it gets the forward or reverse to engaged…

the rear end doesn t hum while driving so i dunno if it would be the rear end or the universal’s…

my cousin climbed under and listed and he thinks there wasn t any play in the universal’s… so it almost sounds like its in the actaul rear end!

my old truck had a little clunk when put in gear. was the ujoints. dealer told it was cool

yeah… it needs replaced to…

but this noise is the rear end… nasty sound! CLUNK!
