# Q45/300ZX brake rotors compatibility.

The Q45 rotors are 28mm thick compared to the 26mm thickness on the non-turbo Z32. Now my question might be stupid, but is it possible to use Q45 calipers with 26mm 300zx rotors? Or would the rotors being 2mm thinner than stock cause problems?

I never tried it but when you think of it thinner rotors (as long as they are same diameter) should not be a problem. As you use your rotors they get thinner with time/use. If you tried it and you calipers didn’t grab as well then adjust the booster.

would it even be worth the hassle?

the Z brakes are the same price as the Q45 stuff.

and the Z brakes look sexier.
