# Q45 mafs sensor

hey guys i have a technical question, does a Q45 mafs sensor work with a sr20det ecu, am i able to get a sr ecu programed to use a Q45 mafs?  
im not really sure

any help would be appreciated

u can use an Apexi unit, or have your ECU flashed for the Q45 unit.

as far as i know though, the Q45 is far more sensitive because of it’s large size and is hard to tune idle. u may have trouble with an S-AFC since it’s very basic. i’d go with an ECU tune.

Also, some reputable tuning companies (Enthalpy) won’t even tune an ECU with a Q45 so be sure you understand completely the route you are going to go if this is the MAF for you.
