# Q's about Winter Storage

What he said is probably the best. And in theory you shouldn’t even need to have a trickle charge if you have a decent batter and no drains, my impala sat for two years and the battery was fine, in colder weather than rochester. The only way do everything on your list is if I was story a rare car for multiple years. your storing a modern car for a few months is should be fine if you do what mike said.

Yeah when I got my car from Jack, it had been sitting for a while. There were rats nests in the exhast and air intake of the car, around the carb…basicly anywhere they could make one lol.

Oh yeah, and set two mouse traps but dont bother stuffing the exhaust/intake, you just give them something to chew.
