# QUESION ABOUT ENGINE PRICE.....HELP!!!

Two questions…

1.) i have a 91 240sx and my engine has 284,111 Km, my buddy has a 98  
240sx and hes gettting rid of his engine ( for a SR20 DET black top). his old motor it has 160,000Km on it. he wants $1000 for the engine and tranny.

Is that to much to pay for the engine and tranny??

2.) if i were to get the engine, i wud want to turbo it and run it with 8 PSI ( so i dont have to change the interals) do think i should do that, or save my money and buy a SR20 DET Red Top?

that’s a bit too much for the engine and tranny…  
give him $500 tops…

save your money for a rb26 so that you will be faster than your buddy.

Try again. Search first, dont post in all caps second.

But yes, that’s a little high for a KA. He wouldnt get more than $500 selling it on here.
