# Question about buffing wheels

Just wondering what is a good way to clean compounds off of buffing wheels. Im using them on a bench grinder and id like to know if theres a kind of “fool proof” way to get all of the wax off the wheel.

they make an actual wheel rake for this. i am not sure who would sell it though.

^^^^ yes those are for the bench wheels. I use something different usually with a little red handle and on the other end have 3 or 4 metal circles. I dont know the name of it though and those i use on handheld buffers.
