# question about getting my license back

OK here is the deal Sept 10 i am allowed to get my license back. my question is when i send in the registered letter it says since i have a car registered in my name i am required to have insurance on it before i get my license back. my problem is how do i get insurance on my car when i don’t have my license back yet. if any one had this happen to them or has some helpful input that would be cool… thanks

Sound like a “chicken or the egg” situation.

Can you send in the re-application for a license without having a car on it? Maybe get a new form?

no my car is regustered so i am required to get insurence on it before i get my license back

Well worst case you can turn in the plates and re-register the car (and then get insurance) after getting your new license.

But this is probably a question best asked by calling the DMV.
