This Thread makes me sick, and Bing for the first time ever you make me sick. Ian and Sasha I consider both as decent hard working guys, so this one I’m staying out of. LOL your an idiot as you already know the answers to these questions but you obviously choose to ignore them simply to TRY and add some fuel to a fire… but I’ll explain it again, this time using small words so you understand this time around. intercooler piping did not fail. A pin hole so small it took months to find showed up, once found I had no hesitation in offering to fix it. This is one smaller than a pin hole in hole leak over meters of welded aluminium and cast aluminium… The ‘idea’ and the product you simpleton is called a ‘torque stay’ it was designed to hold a specific amount of torque that’s it. It ‘failed’ because the - owner of the car was not using a Front tower brace… the CARS frame, in moderate speed cornering was loading up the torque stay… Now I don’t know about you and your concept of design but putting a side load of that proportion on the aluminium head of the SR strikes me as being not too smart. So the part did what it was suppose to and break under loads over and above what it was designed for… after all it’s a torque stay NOT a tower brace… um… what fucking drug are you on? - who’s ‘we’, and this ‘sidekick’ ? - 18 years before me? so he started racing when he was -4 years old? - what’s apparent is the question originally asked… is still not answered… then you try to start a smear campaign that uses flawed and out of context attacks on me, sporting glaring omissions… how does that prove anything, but that your a smarmy wee prick? I’m not going to take sides here since I don’t know BAS and and Sasha only a bit. But I can’t stand this American-style mudslinging way of doing business. I’ve seen it for so many years especially back in the day when Modified Mag was small and Primedia was huge…they spent so much time slandering the company and the staff and not improving their own product while we were silent, hard at work beating them at their own game. And they will admit that. If you are better, prove it. And another note, sometimes engineers can’t even figure out immediately why things work or they don’t. Why would you expect Sasha too but I don’t think he is too concerned considering his S14 is very competitive, so its a dead issue. ---

although i have not been to either shop, had any work done by either shop, or know each shop owner personally, havin just read this thread front to back, i must say that sasha is kicking some serious ass how did this all come about in the first place? why cant two shops co-exist? unless if sg istaking business from bas, which i can understand. ---

I personally don’t care what he does with mommy and daddy’s money or what bing does with cheap ass chinese parts… I was after an answer and clarification. THEY chose to attack me. I reiterate, I did not start this ’ mudslinging, that’s purely a bing and Sasha idea. He’s not an eng. in fat I don’t think he’s got a post HS grad education? but he’s been telling allot of people information that is not true… However I asked the original question in such a way that if possible allowed him to bring forth information that supported his POV… no mudslinging anywhere in the very first post. i dont know both businesses but after viewing the two websites, [SG-Motorsport.com](http://SG-Motorsport.com) looks WAY more professional then [Battleauto.com](http://Battleauto.com). So for appearances, i’d pick up the phone and call [SG-Motorsport.com](http://SG-Motorsport.com) first. Thats only if i was looking through yellowpages directory and it came down between the two. It’s all about appearances, by the way wheres Inisfil? sounds far. ---

well it seems to be the way in north america that the slick sites and layouts get the play, perception is more important then value in most cases… unfortunate but true. No clue who does his websites but I do my own, with the time I have to spare for it. The best way to find out about a shop is to ask customers of each business… However we are both very different styles of business… I don’t feel the need, now, to have 6000 sq ft. in one place nor have the slick shop or ad campaign. I work word of mouth via my customers, my primary shop is 700 sq feet at home, ( backed up by 5000 sq feet up north further when needed ), minimal overhead that’s passed onto the customer… lower prices, better work & faster turn around. ---
