that’s a big thing that slipped my mind, is buying a truck that has been previously moded. its not that im saying to not buy a modded truck, but you want to know that it has been done right. the other concern is on a truck with 100k+ miles on it is if it has not been a one owner truck you don’t know what could have been done to it previously. this being said there are alot of little thing to look at that can give you a little story about the truck.

im not hating on the 05 model at all, but its not a 2000 with 120k miles that would be really common. most regular use trucks that are 05’s have less miles, thats all. if those miles are mostly highway just as a commuter thats not a problem at all. but if its been hooked to a trailer for all of those miles its a different story

def not hating on it i would want that info on any truck with that kinda mileage i would just be curious to make sure everything was done right and taken care of. a modded truck can last forever ive seen them go for 300000

i would most deff want something with less than 100k miles. And to answer PJB’s question, as it looks im gonna average about 30k a year. But with a truck like that, I would prob finance it for 4 years. Even still it would prob have 200k on it by the time I paid it off.

a diesel with 200k is going to have a lot higher resale value than a gas with 200k

Thats kinda why I want a diesel. Because I drive so many miles. At least when its paid for I can still get 5 grand or so for it.

probably has torsion bar keys in the front and blocks in the rear. definitely look to see if they ever had a plow on them, that does affect there value. usually the case when it states plow prep package, but not always.
