this is a question for all you speeders… how many times has your motor been out/ the car had no motor in it for a bit. weither it was for a swap or rebuild or fix?
and i say whats the most youve done that in one car…
just curious cuz im on the 7th time ive pulled my motor out of the lude (final time before shes gone) but ya i wanna see how some of you compare

ive got that beat in trannys, center differentials, and rear ends just in one car…no motors though…it was a 1g eclipse…tranny=3, center diff=2 and rear ends=3…but 7 times in one car just for a motor damn…i think after the 2 time i would be done…

ha… so there are people out there with the pain and agony of the car sittin in the garage 1/2 the time it should be out 😛
i actually cracked my old h23 casing in half on maple :bloated:

i had the motor in my jetta out 3 times. then i smartened up and sold it. sweetest move ever.

complete engine out 3 times.
Head off: 2 times in the last week. Saturday and Monday
Can tear down, swap heads, and put back together in 6 hours now. Woo woo.

Only pulled the motor once on the stealth when I had it and was upgrading the turbos and FMIC. tranny was off about 4 fuggin times though…stupid clutch.

^^LOL at avatar. I’ve currently got my motor torn down right now. Upping my compression, rebuilding my head with a larger intake cam, and porting my IM. I’ve had my trans out twice in 3 months, once to change the clutch, and again to replace it.

.75 times.
I had the motor 3/4ths of the way out when I pulled the transmission out through the rear wheel opening when changing the clutch.
