> If your interested, I run a company that rents out detectors for just this type of dilemma. We’ve got a lot of different detectors available, including the V1, the 8500 x50, and the newest Escort, the 9500i. If you wanted to rent a few of them, I could give you a serious discount.

Do you actually turn a profit doing this?

Anyone ever max out their V1 at 9 bogeys detected? I did at the new clusterfuck roundabout at wehrle/kensington/harlem.

from what I understand, they can’t regulate light, so laser jammers are legal… but then again, if a cop want to give you a ticket, they can always find something.

my V1 has saved me from laser… it won’t work if you’re the only car on the road… but I’ve had a few bounces from cars ahead save my ass.

I like to leave my radar detector on when i’m banging young girls in my back seat.

As soon as I hear it go off, i throw my clothes on and get in the front seat. and tell the cop we’re just sitting here

Company was only about a year old before I started turning profit. Also, we’re about to expand into gps units and some other accessories.

**Passive radar jammers** are legal, but their effectiveness is highly questioned.

**Active radar jammers** are illegal.

**Passive laser jammers** are legal EXCEPT in California, Utah, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

**Active laser jammers** are legal EXCEPT in California, Utah, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

**Radar and laser detectors** are legal except in DC, Virginia, on military bases, in commercial vehicles, and in vehicles over 10k lbs.

The misinformation in this statement is so great that the funny is lost.

My V1 has saved me countless times. Hardwired with no X band. Paid for itself in no time…I wouldn’t speed without one.

In fact, saved me from instant-on somehow on the way home tonight.
