# Quick pull...Mustang vs. Mustang

Was finishing up the last leg of my return drive from Cleveland, OH…of which I got 25 mpg:)…when a SN95 Mustang stepped up to play. It was a '99+, lowered, and had some Ford Racing decal in the rear bumper between the tail pipes. Sounded like a stick shift car from when he pulled up next to me to let me know he wanted to run. I accepted the offer and dropped it into 3rd at about 70mph…then we went. Top of my third I had pulled a few cars, hit 4th and ran it out to about 115 which is just about when I run out of gear. I couldn’t tell for sure but he was perhaps 2 or 3 bus lengths back. Either way, it wasn’t very close.
Afterward I slowed up to give him a ‘good run nod’, he hollered back with a smile, and then proceeded to light up a cigarette:D
FYI…my car traps in the 108mph range as it sits right now.
