hey i was wondering is the r32 rear end a direct replacement with the stock s13 diff or do you have to swap the whole rear end to make it work?

they have a diffrent housing. You would need to use the R32 crossmember. What R32? GTR or GTS-T?? GTR wont.

I’ve heard rumor that guys used to put new rear ends on anyways because u get all the added features and plus they said it bolts on or minor modding. Most JDM diffs use a 5 star output shaft configuration, while USDM use only a 3-2 bolt configuration. AKA doesn’t work.

depends on what year and engine diff comes from! Lots of skylines come with the 6 bolt and some have 5 bolt either or you just swap the axles and its done!
