> For $13k or maybe a bit more, you can get into an Evo VIII with equivalent mileage. The Evo will have a much stiffer chassis, similar weight distribution, similar power to weight, better handling, and is FAR easier to find parts for.
>
> Who wants a DD that needs parts from 7000 miles away when something significant (or even small) breaks?!!?
>
> Does the GT-R make you feel invincible and make your balls tingle with excitement when entering a decreasing radius turn?
>
> Sure, but any well trained old ho’ from Schenectadeck can provide similar thrills in a Mitsubishi. I mean, f#$% an ATTESA, if she know what she’s doing, you don’t even need to be in a turn to erupt.
>
> Bottom line: R32 GT-Rs are AWESOME for a 90s car. But without throwing a $hiteload of money at them and having a cousin named Daisuke with connects at the port of Yokohama- you ain’t $hit and YOU WILL lose a drag race to a turbo Celica.
>
> They are great ONLY for having something different, but be prepared to PAY THE PRICE. That’s all there is to it.

perfect post
