The twin turbo stang and the 240 went neck and neck down the “track”, but the slim starting line edge by 1320 slowly walked into a 1/2 to 3/4 of a car win. But from top of 3rd and all of 4th, it was all dsm, which pulled past the vw, and settled for the 3/4 car win. A rematch was attempted, but aborted when it was discovered that the drag radials would not bolt onto the wheels because someone forgot the damn tools/lugnuts required.
