Blatant racism including but not limited to using racial slurs against one another will result in an automatic 3 day ban. This is not a new rule. This is a reminder.

Just a quick clarification:
The N word does NOT trace its etymological roots to innocently meaning “an ignorant person.” It stems from the latin word “niger” which means black and became “negro” in Spanish and Portuguese. It was then adapted by our society to neutrally refer to black people, but quickly took on a negative connotation due to our generally negative views of black people in our society’s early history.

So educate yourself before you try to claim that it is OK to call someone the N word.
Note that I am not referring to “new” adaptations of the word that, under certain contexts, do not carry a negative connotation.
All that being said, the bottom line is don’t bring racism here. Do not use racial slurs here. This is a community.
