Can I use the stock s13 rad with an SR20DET engine in, without it overheating just for a few weeks? thanks

Sure. Just dont go to the race track or anything. I think there are alot of people running the stock rad here that havent had any problems, the aluminum one is nice to have but not necessary.

you must use some type of fan, electric or otherwise, and triming your stock rad shroud (to fit SR) will help channel air through the rad, as will the lower engine shrowd

You have the AC fan on your car… it will suffice with the stock rad… just watch it if you get stuck in traffic on a hot day.

I’m running the stock KA rad “modified the Rad shroud” and I wired the AC fan up as it runs 24/7 etc… and I’ve never ever had any over heating issues or even had it get warm on me once.

Is it better to have the A/C fan or not?

I’m just using a pc of 1.50’’ tubing bent with 2 90s etc…

you can use 2 90s and a straight piece of pip/tubing ? you can get flexable rad hose as well…
