nice, I’d really like to pickup a jammer. Aren’t they “illegal” though? Would a cop know if you had one? and likewise, what would the penalty be if you were pulled over for it? especially since it’d be hardwired in never heard much on the issue ---

So far in NYS laser jammers are legal, but of course they might “upset” the individual cop. Depending on the gun used it will either not give a reading or say “JAMMED?”. Apparently quite a few things can cause that to happen so they don’t necessarily “know” that you have a jammer. The trick is to slow down and then turn it off to allow them to get a speed lock. Lidatek LaseEcho used to actually jam for only five seconds and then recycles for couple of minutes to avoid you having to turn it off. ---
