Ive gotten a 300 dollar fine with 3 points to the license all for having a radar detector on my passenger seat, i got pulled over for being in a shitty area with a nice car, and they saw the detector, asked what I used it for I responded my sister uses it in some states of america, which is when they Radio’d in, than returned with a ticket just drive slow, homey, drive slow ---

Typically the guy that drives with a radar detector is a mature enthusiast with a nice car. Not sure why that is prolly becasue they look like they can afford a lawyer and know their rights and have the charm to talk out of it. Etc… All the ppl I know with high end cars use them. $300 fine + 3 points (same as rolling a stop sign) versus what impounding, suspension and a couple grand? As for the STi its the only good one with almost zero risk. ---
