For a man of your sexual inexperience, I’d suggest a “Live Escort”…but for a radar, stick with a V1.

FWIW, a lot more depends on the effectiveness of a radar detector other then benchmarks.

The geography of the area, traffic etc has a lot to do with it. Some are loyal to Valentine while others are Loyal to passport. The effectiveness of the radar detector is not going to keep you out of a ticket, your ability to read the radar and become familiar with it will.

A few I have talked to that have owned both said it was more a personal preference and featureset more then the ability of the detector itself…

IIRC cossey too said his V1 worked great but it was annoying as fuck so he sold it and bought a 9500.

Seems many people view radar detectors as a get out of jail free card rather than a tool, not so much when you fucking around but to keep you in check when your not giving your full attention to the road or if you maybe speeding a little bit and not realizing it.

I got the chance to use the V1 for awhile, it works great, the arrows are kind of fun

Ilya look at the featuresets, talk to people that have either, dont base it just on the benchmarks you see online, theres to many variables IMO for a benchmark that many of those have to actually mean anything. Its established they are both great radar detectors and very similar in performance, personally I would take the 9500 just because of the features…

After reading reviews of the V1, Redline, and 9500xi…I’m leaning towards the 9500 myself.

Their top models are 9500ci I believe and they range in $800 to $1400+

The include bumper installs and laser jammers.
