I can’t remember cause that was over a month ago I took the picture. I always forget to meter off bright spots. I’ll keep that in mind on my miata shoot. ---

Holty, that R1 looks great with the Repsol scheme, but it makes me cringe to see the bike cinched down that way…very hard on the fork seals. ---

Well, now that I have completely derailed the thread, I am just going by what much smarter people (racers and suspension gurus) have told me when I started having problems with my already revalved suspension. I have a canyon dancer strap that I haven’t used in years that I would be happy to give away. ---

it doesn’t hurt the seals at all, if any damage is to be had, it will be in the form of sagging springs from extended periods of being tied down. your seals leaked from lack of maintenance. you need to pull the dust seal and clean under it every once in awhile. ---
