You guys seem to have missed the part about the rapists going to jail for years too.

She is just also going to jail for being in public without her husband, and getting 60 lashes for being in public with a man who was not her husband which got upped to 200 lashes when she argued over the 60. Well, her actual husband is taking the entire punishment in her place, but still.
