It still has a meaning. Its nice to see someone actually making a stand like this. I’m more concerned to hear if it hold true through the album. With the confirmed titles. You a Nigger too. - sounds like its on the right path. The Fear (of a black man’s dick) - not really too sure where he could or will go with this. But putting the word out there for many to hear, more frequently, I think will make strides in desensitizing it. Simple things like “I’m looking for the new Nas album” “Oh you mean Nigger?” “Yes, Nigger” Is a start in making the word have more uses eventually just killing the racist meaning behind it ---

It is indeed a powerful statement and I think its good that he is doing this. There is far too much senseless racism going on still. ---

I think that real hip-hop is great music, but I think that typical rap songs are junk. ---

Hell, he’s doing it for publicity. Most rap nowadays sucks. And the only way they get more attention than the other rappers is to do something controversial. Walmart won’t sell his album or will make him rename it N word. Then Sharpton will get another 15 minutes of fame to protest whitey for holding the black man down. I think it’s pretty lame and wouldn’t buy his album anyway. Either they hate the word and don’t want anyone speaking it or they like being able to say it and holding it over white peoples heads if a white person says the word. Fucking lame… ---

What his wife did was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I think it’s interesting that the reporter wouldn’t say the word. She kept referring to it, but she just couldn’t say it. I think the more strongly you pronounce the R at the end, the more racist it sounds. BTW - his whole thing about not being able to vote in 23 years is pretty much a fallacy. It’s kinda like he should have Googled it before he went on this crusade, spreading misinformation. Thanks to him, thousands of people will think black people can’t vote after 2031.
