 a sr20 was actually a factory option for our cars. it would be like swapping a v8 into a firebird or v6 camaro. and i dont think a civic with an LS motor is even on the same performence level as a 240 with an SR. What the fuck are you talking about? The sr20det was never a factory option in the United States. 😕 ---

it would be like swapping an ls1 into an impala and calling it a holden factory option. :rolleyes: bean pole, i know it wasnt a factory option for me. i didnt say it was but for the s13 and s14 chassis it was. ---

i think what he ment was it was an option in japan
i.e. silvia K vs. silvia Q or J since the k was the only model of the 3 with the DET i think that makes him right its like saying a v8 isnt an option on a mustang. may not of been here but still

 im trying to say that the fucking chassis that is sitting in my driveway came with a god damned SR20DET in it from the factory! thats all im trying to say! im not trying to say it came with one in america! im not trying to say its better than a v8 or fbody. its not like your swapping a motor into it that never came in the car from the factory. its the same thing as putting a ls1 in a v6 camaro. ---

all of which were never optioned nor available to YOUR CAR therefore i dont’ care where they made it it was never an available option for YOUR CAR
if the ls1 was never available outside of austraia then yes you’d be right in saying it’s no different than an ls1 in an fbody but we’re not talking about that :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :greddy: ---
