# rb20 vs sr20

hey i was wondering if its worth putting in a rb20(stroked to 2.3 liters) or should i keep my sr20 in? the rb20 is highly moded tuned ecu ect. how much would i be looking at for a rb install? and is it worth every penny i put into it?

Get the SR it has WAY more aftermarket support.

i don’t know much about RB’s but i drove in a silvia with one with probably around 260-280HP and it felt great! it was very rev happy and loads of torque. and like allready mentioned the SR has allot of support on this side of the pond, and is a torquey, fun engine.
if you have lots of funds and don’t depend on the car as your only daily driver it could be fun and slightly more unique. but I wouldn’t want one in my car if something major went wrong and I needed parts ASAP!
but again, I don’t know much about RB’s, there might be more local support than I know of.

that Rb20 strocked to 2.3 … were u gonna get that off a guy named Dario ??
cause i know a friend of mine who has a strocked 2.3 and he was selling it.
anyways go with the RB20 … im saying go with it because i have RB20 in my car. the only thing your gonna have to do is get better suspension for your front end.
