# RB20DET sawp for 1990 240sx

Since the repairs on my old KA24E are goning to start going up with every little thing im thinking its best to swap it out with something… I know alot of you guys on here if you’v done a swap did the SR20DET, so in the intrest of being alitttle more diverse i was THINKING about the RB20DET. So i was wondering what getting proformance parts and just regular parts for that engine is like? or even what type of problems i can exspect from that engine?

RB20 is old too, no? kinda like CA age?

rb20’s came in the r32 skyline from 89-94. Condition wise, it’s probably in no worse than an sr. It would be about the same age, used for the same thing(rear wheel drive). The only problems i see, are the maintenace, parts will be hard to come buy and It will be more exspensive to mod and install.
