# RB25DET turbo\>\>\> redtop

The question is am i able to use a rb25 turbo on a SR redtop? i realize its probly not the right flange to be honest i dont even know how big the turbo is on a rb25?

can it work ?

its a t3 turbo, you’d need to get a new manifold or modify your current one.  
go with a t28 from a s14 or s15.

but if i can get it for cheap is it a good small upgrade from the t25?

no because it wont bolt on

t25 is t2 flange

the turbo ur talking about is t3

you would need a new manifold

now its not a cheap upgrade

if your ultimate goal is to go t3 though you could spend good money on the maniflold and lines now but use the cheap ass rb trubo, then upgrade to a bigger t3 later and all u’d need to do then is bolt that turbo right u[p to the good quaility manifold & lines u bought earlier to fit the cheap small rb25 turbo
