I had to read Zinn’s book for a HIS4XX class. That guy just rubs me the wrong way. ---

A customer…well, friend brought this to me the other day. Got home, and went through it in about 5 hours. Lots of relevant stuff related to stuff going on in my life. Truly a fantastic book ![http://racingintherain.bookreporter.com/images/art-of-racing-in-the-rain.jpg](http://racingintherain.bookreporter.com/images/art-of-racing-in-the-rain.jpg) ---

Does anyone read anything anymore? Just got through this because I’m tired of talking to divorced and about to divorce people. They all seem to follow a similar path. Marriage -\> kids -\> no sex -\> not allowed to see naked -\> time passes -\> FU I’m outa here. ![http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WQKEMKlAPjY/T3vC0z1vpLI/AAAAAAAAFVk/Gc2K3QX4UyA/s1600/The+Five+Love+Languages.jpg](http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WQKEMKlAPjY/T3vC0z1vpLI/AAAAAAAAFVk/Gc2K3QX4UyA/s1600/The+Five+Love+Languages.jpg) it is a really fast read/listen. Turns out I really am an ass. It’s actually not too far off what it takes to make people happy. women - lots of affirming words, presents, quality time, acts of service, and touch. men - lots of touch. up next: ![http://imageserver.grainger.com/is/image/Grainger/15Y092_AS01?](http://imageserver.grainger.com/is/image/Grainger/15Y092_AS01?%24productdetail%24) Because electricity kills feelings ---

I recently read: Dead Birds Hot and March of Time and Skin by Jeff Stewart. Both very good. Found them as nook downloads on his website: [http://jeffstewartauthor.com/](http://jeffstewartauthor.com/) I’m in the middle of Folstom and Jetsam and will be reading Lolly next. He is a contributor to a magazine I read and really liked his style and found these books. ---
