Yeah, but Spitzer had to pay for it. This guy was getting some from some (I’m assuming) hot Buenos Aires, Argentina chick. I’ve never been but from TV and web I’m pretty sure there aren’t any non-hot chicks in Buenos Aires. Some zoning reg or something. ---

I’ve had a few exchange students from Argentina/Uruguay/Brazil/etc. While there are a few exceptions, this is zoning reg is generally enforced. I think they ship all the ugly ones to mexico or something. ---

i don’t get it… does his love life chage the way he governs a state? I don’t see this being anything illegal. Granted, it’s immoral, but it doesn’t affect his ability to carry on with his job. so stupid. ---

It’s because he ran as a hard-line Christian family-values conservative. The hypocrisy really pissed off his Jesus freak base. Just like no one cared so much that Spitzer banged a prostitute, it was that he crusaded against prostitution rings as AG, shut them down, and then used them. Sorry, but when you get your hand caught in the cookie jar just saying you’ll buy more cookies doesn’t give you a pardon. Now had you sold millions of records… EDIT: Joe, Spitzer would probably still be governor had he simply banged NY prostitutes. The only serious charges he was facing, the charges they used to get him to resign, was the stuff about bringing money and women across state lines for the sex trade. That brought serious federal charges into play. ---
