# really simple question

how do I resize photos to make them fit on this site, ie file size and width.

Using a PC and a canon camera.

download a copy of the gimp, or a pirate copy of photoshop.

If you are using XP they have a tool on Microsofts website, it installs into the drop down menu and you can resize as many pictures as you can select. I use it to resize all my pictures. simple right click select size, click OK and done.

It depends what you want to change the resolution to.

If its not much of a change you could just use paint. I personally wouldn’t do that, but if you don’t have photoshop then why not

if you’re hosting them photobucket resizes them

Image Resizer…very easy right click and resize image.
