# Really? You call this a new model?

Here are some cars that make you wonder if they have done anything at all, yet they get a new model number

STi 02-03, 04-05, 06-07 are all the same chassis, just a facelift. Some years had more power than others, different tranny gearing, interior stuff, etc…
08+ are just about completely different.
EVO VIII had different front bumper, non-MIVEC 4G63. IX got MIVEC. Their trannies might have different gearing as well.
Mini went from a supercharged motor, to a turbocharged motor, plus some other stuff you should ask Marat about.

I know the small details, but when it’s considered a new body style and is so selected when looking up items, while the car looks damn near identical on the surface.
That’s what I’m getting it.
Throw any Porsche (but the 997) in there too :tongue

There were significant changes between just about every 911 generation. Just because some of the panels bolt on to older models and vice versa, doesn’t mean it’s not new. Interiors, engines, AWD/RWD, etc…
