# rear caliper

is 1991 to 1993 240’s rear caliper same as the 1994 to 1998’s 240? thanks!

i took my rear torque members off of s13’s, so the actual size of the calipers should be the same. Not sure about the pistons though (I kept my s14 rear calipers). I can’t see the s14 calipers not be able to bolt up to the s13’s. i think i have a spare, siezed rear s14 caliper, you can have it if you wanna double check fitment before buying new calipers, just pm me.

Hmm… interesting info Phil… I would have answered that they are the same, basing my response on the Nissan parts guy telling me they were… same part number. Could be that the earlier part has been superceeded by the later part.

Anyway… the answer seem to be that either will fit… however you should avoid mixing and matching as this will cause an imballance between right and left rear braking.
