# rear diff.

i have an 89 with an open diff and i picked up a 94 vlsd. do i need to change my driveshafts or will it just bolt up?

It will bolt right in, unless you have a auto tranny, then you will need a auto drive shaft.

1994?

low model year it came from a convertible?..

or is it JDM in which case the driveshafts may be 5-star pattern versus (2X)3…

not to sure about if you can use an ABS driveshaft in non abs VLSD as abs makes the diff about 3/4 of an inch longer.

You can tel if the VLSD if ABS by looking for a plug 2-wires (?)

auto/manual does not matter…

it might not be that year but thats what the guy told me. i can provide pics and video of it working. .
