I have a rental car for the next week or so. I was rear-ended and the Accord is getting a new bumper cover and other garbage underneath. No one was hurt and I’m OK. My rental car is a 2013 or 14 Impala Limited. The older style, but it has the 3.6 DOHC V6 and the 6-speed automatic. I was shocked to find out these are pushing 300hp. This car is no race car, but for its size it… big girl can move. This rental has one problem though, no clutch. I told the guy in the rental shoppe with the fancy suit this and it took him a minute to process that then realized I was joking. I am happy to have this size car. I am big guy and I drove a Spark months back and that car hurt my back and knees something terrible. Of course this has to happen right after I get the thing oiled at Carwell… sonofabitch. ---

Oh, gotcha. Does that actually do anything? I’ve always had the impression that it wasn’t worth it. ---

yeah it works, but it’s there are certainly more modern solutions. the big downside is not being able to wash the car underneath. ---

Don’t all Delta Sonic washes include an under carriage wash? I’d much rather do that then not be able to take my vehicle to a wash. I really can’t say I’ve ever been told by anyone that they’ve had this done. At least not in the last 10 years. ---

Z is factory undercoated anyway 🙂
