I cringe when someone asks me to fix any sort of line on their car… Yeah I agree with you, I have passed cars before with 36" long patches mostly because I really dont want to fix the line in the first place. I thought he was talking about going front to back with rubber hose… yeah thats different. With the subframe dropped it should be a hell of a lot easier, now you just have to worry about corroded fittings. I suggest using a tube bender for the 5/16" fuel lines (you can get it cheap at a can-tire or princess auto) because if you kink that line its the biggest piss off ever. For the brake lines its 3/16" I just bend these ones with my hands because brake lines tend to be a lot more easy to bend and less likely to kink.
