# reasons why i love NECC

for starters, there are no jerks
people don’t lowball you on a price that is set
help doesn’t always refer to “search”
and everyone if friendly
did I say everyone is jerks?
well what inspired me to post this was beyond.ca
I swear most of the guys on there are just there to piss you off. I had my sparco seat for almost 50% off the price that I paid for the seat and I have people saying $150, $180 and some people saying that they won’t buy it unless it has sliders. there is no way I am going to add another $100 to a seat thats already dirt cheap. I just think that necc is more reasonable that beyond and 708tuners. those guys are starting to piss me off

I agree. I think we’re really friendly to guests here mostly because we aren’t assholes. (Well, everyone except me, anyway. :D)
The VBoard is rife with search nazis, though it does seem to get better with time.
My first post on 780Tuners on a thread about CAI’s was met with posts of BS and that I didn’t know anything because I hadn’t dynoed the car. All I said was that logically the CAI should make more power because cold air has more oxegyn. Not sure how you can argue with elementary physics, but they tried! 🙂
Case in point:
_PyreXXX: Well, it’s tough to say EXACTLY how much power it makes for the Sentra because I haven’t personally dyno’ed my car before and after…_
Dickhead: #1 you haven’t even tried a short ram intake for comparison, so how can you recommend a CAI?
PyreXXX: I haven’t tried a SRI, no, that’s true. But in my experience, a CAI IS BETTER THAN STOCK. That’s all I was saying - I didn’t say a CAI was better than an SRI, because I don’t know whether it is or not. That said, cold air coming into the engine makes more power, and an SRI DOES NOT pull in cold air.
Dickhead: i could see if you said, “I have a CAI it’s great” but don’t come in saying I recommend the CAI hand down, LOL, you’ve only TRIED a cai, so you have no clue.
Sadly enough, most forums end up ths way.

werd…only thing I look at on beyond is the s13 thread and marketplace lol.
Hence the anticipated sporting of the necc spin knob, and removal of the beyond.ca decal :E

Yea this is one of my favorite boards. I think it is this way beacuse we all seem to know each other (atleast some people on our cities). Yea and i tried to sell some subs on 780 tuners that were less than 5 weeks old wiht a 2 year warrenty and people offered my less than 5% of what I paid.

yeah, this and gtrcanada seem to be a lot better then other boards…i think it has a lot to do with it being more specialized to nissans…and most people seem to know eachother…props to the club, and mods, and people who make this forum tick… :thumb
