If I were to take the engine out of my car (Z32 VG30DETT) what are
some things that I need to know. What steps, tools,
procedures ect. would I have to take? I know its a daunting task but
its something that I’m really considering. It’s gonna save me a crapload
of money.

No one here is going to be able to tell you EVERYTHING that you need to know. I could get into some of it with you but this would turn in to a really long post…

Go to [www.twinturbo.net](http://www.twinturbo.net) (a site devoted to Z32s) and start researching. They have some really good TECH articles and FAQs.

Once you find out what’s involved, THEN you can decide if you really want to do it. 😃

I am in the process of doing the exact same thing now.If i were you I would do a lot of research before you start. It is quite a daunting task.Just removing all the electronics and hard lines takes a while. If you decide to do it good luck.
