# Recomend me a DVD Burner

Picking up an internal for the PC… was looking at this guy, but hear it may not be the best if I also want to use it to rip/duplicate “my own” movies.

Suggestions? Inernal only, sATA or PATA doesn’t matter to me. Cheaper the better. Don’t need lightscrub or any gimmicks.

I currently have a NEC,I got it 2 years ago and its been great.When I was doing research of which ones to buy I went here…

Pioneer is quite good,I had one of those as my first burner and it was reliable.

Samsung makes great optical drives, and even better hard drives.
They are pretty quiet.
The liteon drives are tried and true, but very loud.
The only drive I’ve ever had a problem with has been the LG drives.
