Came home from vacation yesterday to my car getting BONKED by something. Dad told me Sunday was like a monsoon in Buffalo Hoping PDR can get most of this out. Doesn’t have to be perfect. there are a couple decent pdr guys in WNY. are you in buffalo or further east? the guys i know best are in Syracuse but i think they do come up here. cant tell shit from that pic btw. ---

716-912-4132 (Pat) used to be in WNY, not sure if he still is but you could text him and see if he is still active. most PDR guys i know are also good hail techs so they tend to leave areas without much hail and settle further south after they get good. you can say i referred you. ---

> The dent guys prefer you see it that way. it keeps prices higher. there are hail guys in Canada that did over $1m (CAD) in annual sales themselves in the last couple years and i heard of a guy (the son of a well known PDR guy) who did $1.5m USD a couple years back in a good year. it can be a very rewarding trade if you become a solid hail guy. ---

@JayS he removed the taillight, exposing a 1/3” hole. Pulled out about 20ish 24” steel rods with different ends and asked me to move a heat gun back and forth across the paint, slowly the surface evened out. it’s not 100% like if you did body work but it’s 90% better and I’m not paying $3500 to fix a dent on a car I paid 10 grand for. @bing he said he goes south during the summer for the hail storms. ---

Tyler form Dent Pro Buffalo come out to fix my wife’s ‘23 Yukon. Had a so called DPR guy look at but wouldn’t touch it recommended sending to the body shop. Tyler looked and said I got this. I miss the old dent meets we’d have like once a year when we’d get a great deal because we all paid cash and had like 20+ cars all in one place that the dent guys could just do all at once.
