hm, could be just me but I doubt you spent an hour “teaching” the “best percussion teachers in ny” how to play their insturments. Jeg, Im sure you have everything set at heights you like, but it may be in your interested to move those crashes closer to you if your going to be riding on them alot. I was suprised when I pulled mine in closer how much faster I could get to my fills. ---

They obviously knew how to play their instruments or they wouldn’t be teaching. Getting to the lesson and it turning more into a “Wait a second, show me that again!” back and forth, sure thing. It’s not impossible for extremely skilled musicians to hear/see something they’ve never tried/seen before and want to figure it out themselves and its instRUments. \<3 ---

I will I will… just gotta get off my lazy ass and record some shit. It will be hard to emulate most of the shit I play though… I play open handed with my ride above my hi-hats… among other quirky ways I have my shit set up… but I think I can open you up to a whole new style of playing… I’m into a lot of off-beat funky shit, I get super bored with rock/metal stuff ---

my drum teacher is amazing and its only 14 for half an hour. he does it out of his recording studio. hes got a huge set too. ---
