# Red/orange-tagged abandoned cars.

I’m fairly sure the car remains in the owner’s name, but I wanted to verify it.

Near my uncle’s place in McKeesport, there’s an abandoned older Jaguar in front of a vacant lot (house on the lot was condemned and knocked down already) that’s been tagged.

These cars, if not accounted for, just become property of the city/state, correct? I.E. there’s no way to have the car titled in someone else’s name?

Again, pretty sure that outside parties cannot take the car, I just wanted to make 100% sure.
