# Red SRT-4?

I’ve always hated Neons, period. When this came out, I thought that it actually looks ok now (I sort of like the wing actually), and the engine is pretty much bulletproof. I was looking at a 2G Eclipse, but wanted something more reliabile…and it actually turns out that the engine seems to be more stout in this than a 4G63. You just can’t beat the SRT for $20k. If I had the extra cash I’d be into an Evo or an M3, but this will suffice until I get out of school.

Oh, and I agree about the visibility…but the wing isn’t a problem, at least w/ me being vertically challenged it doesn’t get in the way, but the A pillars and B pillars create HUGE blind spots.

There are a a lot of people running 400-500 WHP on the complete stock block. I was originally a DSM guy, and most of my friends have DSMs…I don’t see those kind of numbers on stock 6 bolt blocks… so laugh all you want.

the neon would be cooler if it had a diff body, 2 doors, and awd
