# Redline Motorsports? good or bad

hahaha… just bustin on you like i do with most new members. I really like Boston. And word on the streetz round hurr is that Redline and DeNooyer had a falling out. Albany Speed Shop can balance your vette and set up the suspension/alignment/etc. for you. Check out their section on here.

Yeah they are great guys with race history as well
You can make make a request thread here and see what Darryl (owner) says and go from there. I don’t think their shop had a negative review to date.

I don’t currently have the time to take on more vehicles or else I’d do it. For now, I suggest [http://www.coppolamotorsports.com/](http://www.coppolamotorsports.com/) - theres at least 2 members that have had a good experience with him and he’s a down to earth guy. Hit him up.
As for Redline… after hearing how many motors they have lost on the dyno and/or shortly after tuning, I wouldn’t go near them. I think they got the name Redline because they will make a dyno pull all the way to redline regardless of what the knock count is or how lean your A/F is.

I sent an email as well. I hope he responds. They could not say enough about him at the show. They actually felt really bad for him. Said he had put his heart and soul into the performance division at the dealership. They said he was always respectful and would go out of his way if you needed anything. They said after he resigned he just vanished. A guy at the show said he ran into him one night at the races. He would not talk about what had happened. But another guy at the show said he heard from friends that he had enough of dealing with redline and needed to walk away. Seems like he is trying to be professional and not bad mouth redline. Sounds like a stand up guy to me.

uuuggghhhh , im not gonna go to deap here . dan carlton “maverick” started and lead the denoyeer perf division , after much work -critisism and whatnot he found out what a asshol howard is . about a month or so ago he called me and told me he resigned from denoyer due to the fact he wasnt let his name be tainted by howard and the way he treats -and builds his cars . that was the starting point of the denoyer -redline split . FROM ANY TIME I EVER TALKED TO DAN HE WAS A VERY HONEST AND STRAIGHT UP PERSON . now fast forward a few weeks noone has seen or heard from dan but he is still around and i can get ahold of him ., but now the denoyer and redlline partnership is really crumbling after howard told the denoyers to POUND SALT " his fave saying" and throwing a computer off of a salemans desk in a bitch fest . so needless to say redline burried the final blow in that deal . i personally feel bad for denoyer and dan seein as much money -time -effort was put forth to make this work and howard did it to himself again . oh and for the record , the leftover redline cars are now 15k cheaper just so they sell lolol . trackvette , depending on what ya lookin for the car to do is where im gonna recomend ya to go . if ya need motor-trans tuning etc eetc done bring it to us at [http://www.coppolamotorsports.com/](http://www.coppolamotorsports.com/) if ya need chassis tuning and so on done i would bring it to albany speed as they are great guys that can set the chassis up .

FUCK ALL YOU TALKING BAD ABOUT REDLINE. I have dealt with Howard numerous times and he has been more than gracious. Any little problem I have had he has been there to help. He is the best v8 tuner in the Northeast. All you guys are just fucking haters.

Thanks for sending me the email for Dan. I sent him an email with my number and he actually just called me. He was more than willing to help me with the setup with my corvette.He actually offered to come over to my house tomorrow with a setup sheet and give me some suggestions for tire pressures and other ideas that might help for the track. He also highly recommended Albany Speed and Daryll for setting up the car to the specifications he offers. He also said Daryll and Dave have a really good handle on suspensions as well and have racing experience like he does. I asked him about Redline. He said “no comment” then chuckled. He said he was not the type that would bad mouth other people and we left it at that. I will keep you updated. But thanks again for putting me in contact with him.

albany speed shop is great, and northeast speed does does a good job as well, now you have two choices, nothing more needs to be said.

I can recommend a shop that will dyno tune your vette. They spend a good 5+ hrs doing it. They break down your tune in cells of every 100 rpm! Top notch tune. It doesn’t get anymore precise, legit or professional then this shop. It’s not local, thats the only draw back. But you won’t find one negative comment about them. 3 1/2 hr drive from albany and yes its still in NY.
Downstate is where its at.
