> I sent an email as well. I hope he responds. They could not say enough about him at the show. They actually felt really bad for him. Said he had put his heart and soul into the performance division at the dealership. They said he was always respectful and would go out of his way if you needed anything. They said after he resigned he just vanished. A guy at the show said he ran into him one night at the races. He would not talk about what had happened. But another guy at the show said he heard from friends that he had enough of dealing with redline and needed to walk away. Seems like he is trying to be professional and not bad mouth redline. Sounds like a stand up guy to me.

Well good news

Talk to ASS one way or another as it seems like Darryl knows Dan well

> Sometimes I have no idea where people come up with this stuff. It is almost funny. Most people have no idea how far me and Darryl go back and our friendship. Heck I even introduced him to his wife. (He hates to admit that) Darryl’s father raced with my father when we were in strollers. Daryll and I have raced against each other since we were old enough to drive. So please do not try to start drama between two friends that have more history then we even can remember.

> As for Tony he lives down the street from my parents and I have the utmost respect for him. So please people save the comments about topics you have no knowledge of.

> As for Prestige I have respect for him as well. He has a great name and reputation.

> As for the show. Do you really think we would “block” another company from being a part of a great event. We do not even compete with the companies that are mentioned. And to be honest we have a great relationship with each other and all of us are bothered by people online trying to “start” something. For what it is worth.
>
> I have been a big sponsor at Malta for years including my time at Salisbury. But as Daryll would agree Bruce Richards from CVRA would never turn away someone willing to be a part of his show.
> Daryll your a class act and I appreciate you stepping in…

Also to show what a standup guy Dan is

> All I know is it is great to live in Upstate NY. We have some great cars around this area and some great people. No matter what we drive or who works on them we should all respect different strokes for different folks. It is nice that Summer is around the corner. have a great Weekend everyone.
