RedSSNA and myself were out cruising in his Cobalt. (2.4 with I/H/E/Tune) Upon leaving a toll both on XXXXX, we notice this white BMW to the right of us. The BMW driver proceeded to leave the tolls in a very quick manner for a toll booth, but not with out giving us a complete stare down. We continue a fairly steady speed slowly gaining on him. It seemed like he might have slowed down a bit to try and play around. Well needless to say there was a car to be got around first. RedSSNA proceeded to pass the car, with a BMW now in hot pursuit. After getting a head of traffic, we hoped over to the right lane and slowed to 60ish. The BMW proceeded to pace us. After pacing each other for a few seconds, RedSSNA grabbed 3rd gear and proceeded to take off. Of course the BMW owner that his German engineered 6 cylinder was up for the challenge. He got in to the gas about the same time. By the top of third, the BMW’s front bumper was at the Cobalts door. A quick shift 4th netted what seemed like another 1/2 car if not another car length. Shutting down around 90, the Cobalt had what looked like 1.5-2 car lengths. BMW proceeded to continue on and pass us not even looking back. I think he was ashamed that his BMW got beat by a Chevy. Good race though. ---

what is done to the cobalt? Im assuming t= turbo? What kind of setup? ---

Woah, what kind of number can you get from that NA 2.4? I know on my engine NA guys have been able to break into like 220’s, but thats retard expensive. Sounds like you embarrassed that BMW owner, nice. ---

He made 171 to the wheels. The car has a very nice torque band. ---

i wish i drove a chick car…because then i’d be able to convince some dumb rich slut to buy it from me for way more than i’d get for it elsewhere. sounds like you had fun though, regardless of having a girly car 🙂 can’t wait til i’m back up and running…
